Beautiful. Wild. Free. Cute. Sneaky. Sly.
All of these words can be used to describe a fox or coyote.
Trim. Coat. Collar. Hat Pompom. Accessory.
All of these words can also be used to describe a fox or coyote.
I'll admit I'm not a Valentine's Day celebrator (which is ironic because I actually met my now husband on Valentine's Day- cue the cheesy ahh's and ohh's).
Have you ever heard the term GREENWASHING? (and no, it doesn't mean to wash your clothes in your yard 😏)
Could you imagine if you went to buy a pair of shoes and they were made out of puppy skin? Does that sound absurd and sickening? If it does, ask yourself why.
Whenever we reflect on 2020, it will be beyond easy to list the countless reasons why it basically sucked. As with every “new year”, we are all anxious to leave the past behind us and I am onboard with that idea as well.
We lost our dog Jack on Sunday evening, and needless to say, this has been an incredibly grief-stricken ending to an already difficult year.
Something I thought about many times during the gift buying portion of this month, was how quarantine has turned me into a better buyer. I have realized how little I need, and also how much unnecessary waste was purchased on the daily. I’ve found that I am more conscious of the amount of things that I needlessly spend money on and I am proud to say I made a concerted effort to give quality over quantity this year.
Guys can be so difficult to shop for. It seems like I buy repeat gifts for my husband and dad every year. Not this time! Elevate your gift giving with these cool and cruelty-free finds.
These are some of my favorite gifts for the holiday season. Comfy, cozy and covetable, all items are cruelty-free and Vetted Approved :)
Happy Holidays and happy shopping:)
With Thanksgiving coming up on Thursday, I thought it was a perfect time to share some plant-based recipes with you all. From a vegan cheeseboard to a pumpkin pie, there’s recipes for the whole meal! Bon appétit.
Now that I have watched almost everything that @netflix has to offer, I've pulled out the never-read books that stare at me daily off of my shelf.
As a follow up to yesterday’s post; while most sunglasses are inherently cruelty-free with the frames being made from acrylic or metal, not all carrying cases are cruelty-free.

This new faux fur lined, embroidered denim jacket from Isabel Marant is going to be such a staple for me this season.
Feathers are an incredibly overlooked filler material stuffed with animal cruelty. Down filled puffer coats, ski jackets, vests and are a few fashion items typically filled with animal feathers.
There are so many items in our homes and in our wardrobes that we would never think would be made with animal materials. Some are actually pretty obvious, but others are less conspicuous.
welcome to vetted
I created this site as a space to curate and showcase an emerging category of stylish, cruelty-free pieces. As a life-long animal advocate/activist and a lover of fashion, I have long felt a contradiction between what I wear and what I believe to be ethical. I decided to create VETTED as a way to bridge those often conflicting parts of my life and offer up options to women who want something more from their wardrobe. What you will find here is a guide to shop luxury and stylish pieces, without the guilty conscience.
Thank you for making a concerted effort to buy better.
I hope you enjoy!
