If you chose to buy the coat that has the "cute little fur trim on the hood", you are complicit in the cruelty and abuse. It's that simple and that transparent.

Companies that specialize in winter fashion such as Canada Goose, Moncler, Sam New York, are just a few brands that have continued to glamorize the use of real animal fur in their products; even at a time when so many beautiful faux materials exist.

Canada Goose even states on their website, under the FUR section nonetheless, that they do not "condone any willful mistreatment, neglect, or acts that maliciously cause animals undue suffering." I can't even wrap my head around the conflicting messages in that statement.

The point is, you do not need real animal fur. You will not freeze to death without it. But your choice to wear and buy fur will cause death.
