Vetting Brands for Leather-Free Products
As a follow up to yesterday’s post; while most sunglasses are inherently cruelty-free with the frames being made from acrylic or metal, not all carrying cases are cruelty-free. Unfortunately, there are so many hidden places where manufacturers utilize leather or animal goods unnecessarily. But it is my duty to make sure I highlight products that are completely cruelty-free.
For every item that I showcase on my site, I read through the materials to ensure there are no animal products. And when there isn’t information available on their website, I reach out to brands to confirm the product composition. By shopping cruelty-free, we are demanding to see a change in the industry to be more friendly to animals.
If I ever make a mistake please know it is unintended and let me know immediately so that I can remove the product from my site! But rest assured I am doing my best make sure all of our wardrobes are Vetted 😉
