Whenever we reflect on 2020, it will be beyond easy to list the countless reasons why it basically sucked. As with every “new year”, we are all anxious to leave the past behind us and I am onboard with that idea as well.

We lost our dog Jack on Sunday evening, and needless to say, this has been an incredibly grief-stricken ending to an already difficult year.

Something I thought about many times during the gift buying portion of this month, was how quarantine has turned me into a better buyer. I have realized how little I need, and also how much unnecessary waste was purchased on the daily. I’ve found that I am more conscious of the amount of things that I needlessly spend money on and I am proud to say I made a concerted effort to give quality over quantity this year.
