Rivers Eight, the LA based exotic handbag and accessories brand created by Amanda Schoun, is the answer to anyone with a craving for luxury pieces. With a wide range of colors, “skins”, and styles, it is almost impossible to not buy something.
“I have always appreciated the beauty of exotic skins, but couldn’t bear the idea that animals were sacrificed for our sartorial pleasure,” Schoun says. “We are proud of our collection of faux skin pieces, as we use a rubber that is molded into a perfect facsimile of python, alligator belly, lizard, stingray and caiman. The pieces look and feel like genuine skins but they are cruelty- free. Not to mention they are highly durable, so the pieces don’t have to be precious. They are designed for real life.”
Truth be told, I currently have three Rivers Eight bags in my closet, and I have no plans to slow down my collection. These are the real deal, and worth the buy.
